Ten years of braiding in Annandale

We are a braiding salon on Chatelain Road in Annandale, Virginia. Ten years in, and braids are all we do.

That matters more than it sounds. Show us a photo on your phone and we can usually name the style, tell you whether it will sit right on your hair, and give you a real number for how long you’ll be here. A salon that does braids between colour appointments can’t always do that.

Our mission

To make our customers happy. Linda has said it that plainly for ten years, and it decides most things here: how long we take, how tight we braid, what we charge, and whether we tell you a style is a bad idea for your hair.

What we’re good at

• The shop. Some appointments run six hours. We keep the place clean and quiet so that’s not a punishment.
• The price. All of it’s on the price list. We quote on the phone and we charge that.
• Straight answers. Ring us before you book. Sometimes we’ll tell you the style you want is wrong for your hair.
• Ten years of it. Every texture, every style on the list, including the fiddly ones.

Who we braid

Women, men and children. Kids from about five, braided loose enough that they will sit still for it. Men's styles are quick, usually under two hours. For women we cover the lot, from two cornrows to a full sister locks install.
