Where is Black Girls De Braiding located?
We’re at 4121 Chatelain Rd #202, Annandale, VA 22003, serving Annandale, Falls Church, Alexandria, Springfield, Fairfax and the surrounding Northern Virginia area.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
We're open Tuesday to Sunday, 6am to 10pm, and Mondays by appointment. Give us a ring on (571) 705-9809 and we'll tell you what's free. Quick styles like men's cornrows we can usually fit in the same week.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. We take a $50 deposit to hold your appointment, and it comes off the price of your style on the day. Ring (571) 705-9809 and we'll sort it with you.
How much do braids cost?
Our full price list runs from $45 for cornrows under a wig up to $800 and above for a full sister locks install. Most protective styles land between $150 and $300 depending on size and length. Every price is published on our price list, and nothing is quoted only on the day.
Do you braid children’s hair?
We do, from about five years old, and we braid them gentle so they'll actually sit for it. Kids cornrows are $80, cornrow extensions $140.
How long does a braiding appointment take?
Anywhere from an hour for simple cornrows to a full day for small knotless down to your butt. We'll give you a straight answer when you call so you can plan around it.
Do you provide the hair, or should I bring my own?
Hair's included in most prices. The few that aren't are marked on the price list, and we'll confirm when you call.
